Purpose

As a Manager - Employee Relations / Industrial Relations & Compliance at Adani, you will play a key role in ensuring compliance with labor laws and fostering positive employee relations. You will be responsible for implementing and managing strategies to maintain a harmonious workplace while adhering to legal and regulatory requirements. Experience

• 7-10 years of experience in ER/IR & Compliance from the manufacturing industry, Energy, Infrastructure, Service industry etc.
• People with a strong desire to be part of ER/IR & compliance with an ability to drive results can also be considered.
• Experience in leading a team of professionals in driving results of multi-location

Roles and Responsibilities

• Develop and implement employee relations policies and procedures to foster a positive work environment
• Ensure compliance with labor laws, industrial regulations, and statutory requirements
• Lead investigations into employee grievances, disciplinary actions, and legal matters
• Provide guidance and support to management and employees on labor relations matters
• Conduct regular audits to assess and address compliance issues within the organization
• Collaborate with legal counsel to mitigate risks and resolve labor-related disputes
• Establish and maintain effective communication channels between management and employees
• Oversee the development and delivery of training programs on labor laws and compliance best practices
• Prepare and submit reports to regulatory bodies as required
• Stay updated on changes in labor legislation and industry trends to ensure proactive compliance

Education Qualification

• MSW (Master of Social Work), or MLW (Master of Labour Welfare) or MLM (Master of Labour Management) or equivalent, or MBA-HR (Master of Business Administration in Human Resources) or equivalent or LLB (Bachelor of Laws) or equivalent, PG diploma in Labour Law or equivalent

Certification Required

• Professional certification in labor relations or compliance management (preferred)

Behavioural Skills

• Strong interpersonal and communication skills
• Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information with integrity
• Excellent conflict resolution and negotiation abilities
• Leadership and mentoring capabilities

Technical Skills

• In-depth knowledge of labor laws, industrial relations, and compliance requirements
• Proficiency in interpreting and applying statutory regulations to business operations
• Experience in conducting investigations and managing employee grievances
• Familiarity with HRIS (Human Resources Information Systems) and compliance software
• Advanced understanding of legal and ethical considerations related to employee relations
