Job Description
- Bachelors degree in Engineering or related field
- Masters degree in Quality Management or relevant discipline (preferred)
Experience
- 8-13 years of experience in quality assurance within the Copper industry
- Proven track record of implementing quality control measures and driving process improvements
- Experience in leading and mentoring teams to achieve quality objectives
- Develop and implement quality assurance policies and procedures in line with industry standards
- Oversee the entire quality control process, from raw material inspection to final product testing
- Conduct regular audits to identify areas for improvement and ensure compliance with regulatory requirements
- Lead a team of quality professionals, providing guidance, training, and performance evaluations
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to address quality issues and drive corrective actions
- Analyze data and metrics to identify trends and opportunities for enhancing quality practices
- Drive continuous improvement initiatives to optimize production processes and minimize defects
- Participate in supplier evaluations and quality assessments to maintain high standards across the supply chain
- Act as the key point of contact for quality-related inquiries and communicate quality objectives to internal stakeholders
- Stay updated with industry advancements and best practices to ensure the adoption of innovative quality control methods
