Lead - HVAC - CSD

Purpose/Objective

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Lead - HVAC - CSD to join our team in Ahmedabad. The ideal candidate will have 12-15 years of experience in the Real Estate and Hospitality industry. As a Lead - HVAC - CSD, you will be responsible for HVAC Systems and its design, MEP coordination, and ensuring efficient and sustainable systems for our projects. Key Responsibilities of Role

- Lead HVAC design team and should have sound knowledge of all type of HVAC systems i. e. water cooled, air cooled, precision air conditioning systems, DX systems etc. - Selection of HVAC system basis of type of project and its usage. - Well versed with the local and internation codes/ guidelines, NBC, Fire norms, ASHRAE/ ISHRAE guidelines and ensure compliance with industry standards and regulations. - Set up HVAC design process & guidelines basis of project mix. - Review and approval of DBR, HVAC design calculations i. e. Heat Load calculation, Ventilation, Pressurization, calculations etc. , review of HVAC Schematics and Layous. - Review and approval of HVAC Tender documents, technical specification and Equipment schedules, Technical data sheets. - Knowledge of Chillers, Pumps, Cooling Towers, AHUs/ FCUs/ TFAs/ DOAS/ HRWs, Split/ Ductable Acs, VRFs, Chilled water and refrigerant piping, Ducting and related accessories, Terminal units, Insulations and acoustics. - Knowledge of HVAC design software’s like HAP, IES modeling, Pipenet, etc. - Shall be having good knowledge of fire and smoke ventilation systems, Demand control ventilations, selection of Ventilation fans, its rating and noise requirements. - Shall be having good exposure to MEP rooms ventilations, Plants/ STPs/ ETPs, Laundries’, Kitchen’s ventilations etc. - Responsible for day-to-day design review and coordination work involving Space planning, Equipment locations, HVAC piping and duct routings and terminal positing. - Shall have basic knowledge of other related plumbing, electrical and fire services. - Collaborate with cross-functional teams to coordinate MEP systems and integrate HVAC solutions. - Provide technical expertise and guidance on sustainable and energy-efficient HVAC systems, awareness of IGBC, LEED green building ratings. - Manage and oversee the execution of HVAC projects, including budgeting, scheduling, and quality control. - Conduct regular site meetings, inspections and audits to ensure adherence to design specifications and safety standard including HVAC work progress review. - Develop and maintain strong relationships with vendors, contractors, and consultants to support project requirements. - Stay updated on emerging trends and technologies in HVAC and implement best practices to drive continuous improvement. - Review and approve the contractor bill of quantities, measurements and billings. - Prepare technical reports, documentation, and presentations for internal and external stakeholders. - Shall be well versed with testing and commissioning of HVAC systems, handing over taking over processes of HVAC systems to end users.

Qualifications and Experience

- 12-15 years of experience in the Real Estate and Hospitality industry - Proven track record in HVAC system design and MEP coordination - Demonstrated success in leading and managing HVAC projects - B. Tech in Mechanical Engineering or related field
