Deputy Finance Manager

Roles and Responsibilities :

Close as per calendar from R2R Team; Finalize review with BU Controller as per given timeline.
● Review on Trial balance for all  Coal vertical companies - Monthly basis, maintain GL discipline, accounting hygiene in all companies, Clean up old balances (with vendors/ customers reconciliation), institute GL review and Scrutiny (review on monthly basis);
● Monthly review on pending compliances need to submit to mangement with action taken on particular month and status
● Review  Coal vertical Charts of Accounts with IT and site teams for complete business vertical, set up accounting requirements in new project companies.
● Ensuring follow up and discussion on compliances/ matters as details by Statutory, Internal, Tax and Cost auditors with support to concerned department in implementing recommendations .
Financial Data Validation & Support – 40%
● Arbitration -'To support in discussion, data / details collation under various project claims - ongoing / planned,
● Communication with ABEX team/ consultants on matters and provide details as needed under various notices/ assessments (all tax laws) for all  Coavertical companies.
● Provide monthly report to management on pending assessments, litigation matters and action thereon
● support in new process implementation (process audit review and monitoring ) with auditors and management
● Coal BU Site Visit & Meeting with ABEX to review process and for compliance of all pending points

Job Requirements :

• 4+ years of professional experience
  ● 3+ years’ experience in finance and accounts in a large organization (Manufactring or  Mining Industry) 
  
• Strong knowledge of book closing procedures, financial reporting requirements (IFRS), and regulatory compliance guidelines.
• Proficiency in MS Excel for data analysis and reporting purposes.
