Research Associate

ADAMA India is inviting applications for Research Associate for our R&D Team.

The details of the role are as follows:

Qualification - MSc with 3 - 5 years experience or PhD (Organic Chemistry)

Role & responsibilities

• Literature survey including screening of patent publications
• Efficiently conducting the day-to-day experimentations in the lab
• Feasibility, optimization, and validation of the process
• Handling of different reagents like Raney Ni, Pd, n-BuLi and reactions like chlorination, nitration,nt reagents like Raney Ni, Pd, n-BuLi and reactions like chlorination and nitration etc.
• Experience in Organic Synthesis/Multi-step Synthesis.
• Handling reactions from gm to Kg scale
• Sound Knowledge on isolation, separation & purpurification techniques.
• Experience in characterization and identification of organic molecules using spectroscopy techniques like NMR, IR, LCMS, HPLC
• Ensure consistency and repeatability of process to get acceptable yield and quality

• Team player and has good communications skills
• Ensures safety at the workplace
• Effcient at real time documentation
• Preparation of project presentations for internal chemistry meetings and maintaining research records.
