Purchase Manager

Job Overview:

The Purchase Manager will be responsible for managing and optimizing our procurement processes to ensure a consistent supply of high-quality materials and ingredients. This role involves strategic sourcing, supplier relationship management, and cost control to support our production and business goals.

Key Responsibilities:

• Develop and implement procurement strategies to ensure the timely and cost-effective acquisition of materials and ingredients.
• Identify and evaluate potential suppliers, negotiate contracts, and establish long-term partnerships.
• Monitor market trends, competitor strategies, and supplier performance.
• Ensure compliance with all relevant regulatory and quality standards in the procurement process.
• Manage inventory levels and coordinate with production to maintain an optimal supply chain.
• Resolve any issues related to supply chain disruptions, delays, or quality concerns.
• Collaborate with other departments, such as production, quality assurance, and finance, to align procurement activities with company goals.
• Prepare and present procurement reports to senior management.

Requirements:

• Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, or a related field.
• Minimum of 5 years of experience in a procurement or supply chain role, preferably in the nutraceutical or pharmaceutical industry.
• Strong knowledge of procurement processes, contract negotiation, and supplier management.
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Strong organizational and multitasking abilities.
• Attention to detail and commitment to maintaining high-quality standards.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Proficiency in ERP systems and procurement software.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Masters degree in a relevant field.
• Certification in Supply Chain Management (e.g., CPSM, CPIM).
• Experience with international sourcing and global supply chain management.
