Senior Associate - FIG

Hiring for Investment Banking team for FIG ( Financial Institutions Group )

Role & responsibilities

• Will be responsible for working as part of the dedicated team for investment bank.
• Supporting our clients on FIG (Financial Institutions Group) covering Banking, NBFCs, Insurance, Assets Management, Wealth Management, etc.), Fintech and Technology among
• Preparing pitch books, company profiles, financial benchmarking, trading comparable, company focused discussion documents, newsletters, M&A summaries, market & industry overview slides (short and detailed)
• Manage project timelines and quality of deliverables in a manner to ensure high client satisfaction
• Ensuring timely delivery of reports to clients and keeping seniors informed in advance in case of any delay
• Ability to handle requests independently and communicating with seniors on assumptions, clarifications and expected output
• Expertise in financial analysis including operational (NIM, NPA, CAR, Solvency ratio, AUM, etc.) / financial benchmarking, trading/ transaction comparables etc. would be an added advantag

Relevant Experience

• Relevant experience of 3-5 years supporting Investment banking division of a bank, consulting firm, boutique firm, advisory firm
• Highly developed written and oral communication skills including the ability to create and deliver professional product ideas and presentations.
• Having a good hold on company profiles (ranging from strips / thumbnails to one page summaries to detailed ones), potential targets / buyers / M&A screening, Pitch book update and other adhoc research
• Exposure of relative valuation (company comparable analysis/ Trading comps/ Precedent Transaction analysis) and good understanding of the financial statements
