Senior Associate-Public Finance

Key Responsibilities

• Exposure of managing client expectation and project life cycles
• Ability to work effectively under tight deadlines
• Should be able to impart training to junior members in the team
• Strong fundamentals on core sectors, conversant with latest industry themes conducting analysis and performing quality control check of the outgoing reports/packs
• Experience in analyzing municipal and local authority landscape and evaluating market dynamics
• Generating ideas and creating presentations as part of pitch books
• Advanced Excel and PowerPoint skills (Excel VBA knowledge is an added advantage)
• Good written and verbal communication skills
• Expert knowledge on financial databases (Bloomberg, TM3, MuniGuard, EMMA, Inframation, P3 Bulletin)
• Valuation of companies by building comprehensive financial models debt tracking model, refunding model, scenario analysis and rating model

Key Competencies

• The candidate should be well versed in covering municipal financing and public sectors including prospecting material, mailers / newsletters, pitching & marketing materials, RFP Proposal, Macro economic analysis, research on counties & municipal authorities, municipal bond analysis, confidential information memorandum, municipal issuance volume analysis, bondholder analysis, comparable municipal bond analysis, financial analysis of public authorities, debt tracking model, refunding model, scenario analysis and rating model
