Job description of Works Manager
Overall responsibility & accountability for the manufacturing and production function across the factory include people and budgetary management.

Roles and Responsibilities

• Overall Responsible for all functions- Production, Planning & control, ETS, Stores, Excise, Despatches & Logistics
• To ensure the Raw material Inputs are verified before charging the batch
• Ensure the SOP'S of batch manufacturing process are followed
• To plan, Organize & conduct internal audits & management review meeting.
• Plant Maintenance-Coordinator for Safety activities performed as per requirement
• Various Projects from design, Estimation to commissioning
• To Establish, Implement & maintain the quality management system (QMS) in accordance
• with the requirement of ISO 9001:2015
• Ensure that manufacturing strategies and processes are in place to meet business objective and operational needs in terms of price, quality and delivery target which enables the company to function and compete effectively in the market.
• Lead, develop & implement variable cost productivity programmes across all areas of responsibility
• Provide leadership to departments under control and coach, mentor and develop direct reports and manage a high performing team that delivers continuous improvement, added value and cost reductions.
• Complete regular performance reviews, manage attendance, holidays, disciplinary issues and procedures as appropriate
• Ensuring compliance with legal standards. manage the budget from identification to completion of projects.
• Review environmental strategies that impact on future ways of operating and ensure implementation where possible.
• Support, comply & ensure complicity with EHS regulations and all other company policies and procedures.
• Inspire and motivate the team.
• Responsible for general factory administration work.
• B.E /B.Tech(Chemical ) with 20-30yrs of experience in any chemical industry specially batch processing.
• Should have good managing skills required for motivating the Subordinates & Workmen for achieving the production targets.
