Job Description

Function : Software Engineering - Frontend Development

As a Lead UI Engineer, you will be responsible for building an intuitive user experience to make the Acko Drive journey easier for customers, operations, and business teams.

The core responsibilities include leading by example, mentoring and guiding team members on everything from structured problem-solving, and architecting large systems to the development of best practices.

You will be working in a fast-paced and agile work environment delivering quality and scalable solutions that have immediate business impact.

You are required to code and build an innovative experience that can work on various form factors.

Requirements :

- Know the ins and outs of Javascript to design optimized and modular components that need to be used across our platform.

- 6-9 years of relevant experience in building web apps at scale.

- Have a strong understanding of semantic HTML / HTML5 CSS / CSS3

- Have a good understanding of MVC architecture.

- Prior work experience in ReactJS is a must.

- You must have experience in setting up the full UI workflow layer right from Development, Testing, Building, and Deployment.

- Never give up attitude.

- Experience in frameworks like Bootstrap, Foundation, and CSS pre-processors like SASS and LESS is desirable.

- You should have exposure to page speed improvement techniques.

- Exposure to building responsive websites at scale will be a plus.

- Prior exposure to building React Native components for Hybrid mobile apps will be a plus.

- Prior work experience in Angular, Backbone along ReactJs is desirable.

- Good understanding of webpack and redux.

- Prior experience in building products that are SEO-compatible is good to have.

- Understanding of how PWA works, Service Side rendering, React Native and Hybrid apps are desirable.

- Understanding of Metrics and Monitoring of Web Applications.

- Understanding of GTM or Amplitude, etc. for Analytics.

- Understanding of CDN and its applications and uses.
