Mankind Pharma - React.js Lead - Frontend Technologies (8-12 yrs)

Role description : At Mankind, there is a strong emphasis on developing high-quality, user-centric front-end applications to enhance our digital platforms. This role is responsible for leading the design, development, and optimization of front-end systems, including web applications, UI/UX interfaces, and performance improvements. The candidate will collaborate closely with cross-functional teams, including back-end developers and designers, ensuring seamless integration and delivering exceptional user experiences. This position plays a critical role in driving innovation, improving efficiency, and contributing to the company's growth by leveraging the latest front-end technologies.

Key responsibilities :

- Develop and maintain high-quality web applications using React.js/Next.js & Redux/RxJs.

- Working with business teams to conceptualize, design, build and deliver pixel perfect UI.

- Strong understanding of JavaScript fundamentals (ES6+) including DOM manipulation, event handling, etc.

- Proficiency in HTML5/CSS3 for UI development.

- Collaborate with product managers, designers, and other developers to create seamless user experiences.

- Write clean, maintainable, and efficient code

- Optimize applications for maximum speed and scalability.

- Ensure the technical feasibility of UI/UX designs.

- Ensure all applications are designed using 'secure by design' principles by working collaboratively with cyber security team.

- Conduct code reviews and provide constructive feedback to team members.

- Mentor and guide junior developers.

- Implement and maintain unit tests to ensure code quality and reliability.

Key stakeholders :

- Business Executives : Functional leaders across Sales and Marketing, Supply Chain, Procurement, Finance, HR etc and their teams to understand business requirements.

- IT teams : IT Functional teams

- Product and Implementation partners

- Product Managers and delivery leads from IT horizontal teams etc.

Skills required :

Technical Skills :

- Deep understanding of Frontend stack - React.js, Next.js, Javascript, Redux/RXJs, HTML/CSS, etc

- Good exposure in Responsive designs, Headless architecture, etc.

- Hands-on knowledge and understanding of latest frontend technologies like RxJs, HTML5, SCSS, etc.

- Good understanding of cloud architecture

- Extensive technical knowledge to help decide on escalated troubleshooting issues across domains

- Experience with performance optimization strategies.

Functional Skills :

- Experience across a range of companies with a strong consumer focus, combined with an outstanding communication and leadership skills, particularly strong in liaising between business and technology organization.

- Excellent communication and presentation skills.

- Business acumen to translate technical concepts into actionable insights.

- Team management expertise to deliver results on time and within acceptable coding standards.

- Understanding of industry-specific challenges and opportunities.
