Regional Sales Head - FMCG - North/East/West/South
About the Role:
- We are seeking a dynamic and results-oriented Regional Sales Head to lead and drive sales growth within the North/East/West/South region for our fast-growing FMCG company. The Regional Sales Head will be responsible for achieving ambitious sales targets, building and managing a high-performing sales team, and strengthening market share within the assigned region.
Key Responsibilities:
Sales Leadership:
- Develop and execute regional sales strategies aligned with overall company objectives.
- Set ambitious sales targets for the region and track progress towards achieving those targets.
- Analyze market trends, competitive landscape, and customer behavior within the region to identify new opportunities and optimize sales strategies.
- Monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) and take corrective actions as needed to improve sales performance.
Team Management:
- Lead, motivate, and mentor a team of Area Sales Managers and Field Sales Executives.
- Recruit, hire, train, and develop a high-performing sales team.
- Conduct regular performance reviews and provide constructive feedback to team members.
- Foster a positive and collaborative team environment.
Customer Relationship Management:
- Build and maintain strong relationships with key customers, including distributors, retailers, and key accounts within the region.
- Understand customer needs and preferences and tailor sales strategies accordingly.
- Resolve customer issues and complaints effectively and efficiently.
Market Development:
- Identify and explore new market opportunities within the region.
- Develop and implement strategies to penetrate new markets and expand market share.
- Launch and manage new product introductions and promotions within the region.
Budget Management:
- Manage regional sales budgets effectively and ensure optimal resource allocation.
- Track sales expenses and identify areas for cost optimization.
Qualifications:
- MBA or PGDM from Premiere B. School 8-12 years of experience in FMCG sales with a proven track record of success in achieving and exceeding sales targets within the [North/East/West] region.
- Strong leadership and management skills with the ability to lead, motivate, and mentor a team.
- In-depth knowledge of the [North/East/West] regional market, including distribution channels, competitive landscape, and consumer trends.
- Excellent communication, interpersonal, and presentation skills.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability.
- 1 to analyze data and make informed decisions.
