Job Summary:
We are looking for Senior Data Architect who will be responsible for designing Azure architecture and creating business data models that integrate data from various sources that do not currently interact seamlessly. This role emphasizes a deep technical expertise in Azure Synapse Analytics, SQL, and PySpark.

Key Responsibilities:
*Source System Analysis: Perform in-depth analysis of source systems to understand data structures and identify integration points.
*Master Data Model Creation: Develop comprehensive master data models, including conceptual data models, logical data models, and data dictionaries.
*Database Schema Design: Design both normalized and denormalized database schemas to support efficient data processing and querying.
*ODS Layer Architecture: Architect the ODS (Operational Data Store) layer to ensure reliable staging and transformation of data.
*Gold Layer Architecture: Design and implement the Gold layer for high-quality, business-ready data outputs.
*Data Harmonization: Harmonize data from diverse sources, ensuring seamless integration and coherence.
*Infrastructure Recommendations: Provide high-level recommendations for infrastructure setup and optimization on Azure Synapse Analytics.
*Collaborative Solution Development: Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand data requirements and provide tailored technical solutions.

Role Requirements and Qualifications:
*15+ years of experience in data architecture, with a focus on Azure platforms.
*Bachelors or Masters degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
*Proven track record of designing and implementing data solutions in complex environments.
*Extensive experience in setup, configuration, and optimization of Azure Synapse Analytics.
*High proficiency in SQL for data querying, manipulation, and automation.
*Strong expertise in PySpark for large-scale data processing and transformation.
*Deep understanding of data warehousing concepts, ETL processes, and data integration methodologies.
*Experience with Azure Data Factory, Azure Data Lake, and related tools for data ingestion and transformation.
*Proficiency in creating both normalized and denormalized database schemas.
*Knowledge in master data management and data reconciliation techniques.
*Ability to implement data governance and ensure data quality standards.
