Data & Analytics (Accordion | Data & Analytics)

Accordion's Data & Analytics (D&A) team delivers cutting-edge, intelligent solutions to a global clientele, leveraging a blend of domain knowledge, sophisticated technology tools, and deep analytics capabilities to tackle complex business challenges.

We partner with Private Equity clients and their Portfolio Companies across diverse sectors, including Retail, CPG, Healthcare, Media & Entertainment, Technology, and Logistics.

D&A team delivers data and analytical solutions designed to streamline reporting capabilities and enhance business insights across vast and complex data sets ranging from Sales, Operations, Marketing, Pricing, Customer Strategies, and more.

Role Overview:

The ideal candidate would be responsible for designing interactive, user-friendly, robust, and best-in-class modern BI dashboards that communicate key insights from complex data sets with a compelling story telling. He/she will be required to work closely with the data analysts, project managers and leadership team to understand the business needs and objectives, and design dashboards that meet the requirements and specifications. He/she will be adopting best practices and principles of data visualization to ensure that the BI dashboards are clear, accurate, and engaging.

What You will do:

• Design engaging and user-friendly wireframes for dashboards that communicate complex
  data and insights in a clear and compelling way.
• Collaborate with clients, internal teams, and stakeholders to understand their business
  objectives, and visualization needs.
• Apply UI/UX principles and best practices for data visualization to ensure that the dashboards convey clear, accurate, and engaging story.
• Ensure that the dashboards are consistent with the client's brand identity, style guidelines, and best practices.
• Test and troubleshoot the dashboards for functionality, performance, and usability.
• Conduct user reviews to gather feedback and ensure they are properly implemented.
• Provide training and support to the internal teams on how to design the dashboards and
  implement best practices.

Ideally, you have:

• 3-8 years of experience in similar roles at start-ups or mid-size companies
• bachelor's degree is mandatory
• Degree or course in design, UI/UX, data visualization, or a related field would be preferred.
• Ability to create prototypes and wireframes using UI/UX tools such as Figma, Adobe XD,
  Proto.io, Marvel, Visme, etc.
• Strong knowledge of visualization techniques, and storytelling principles.
• Creative and analytical thinking skills, with an eye for detail and aesthetics.
• Excellent interpersonal skills, with the ability to work independently and in a team.
• Passionate about learning new technologies and trends in the field of data visualization.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills
