Accops - Quality Assurance Lead - Manual Testing (10-12 yrs)

We are hiring for QA Lead ( Networking / Virtualization Domain Mandatory ).

Qualification : BCA/ MCA/ BE/ BTech (Preferably in Comp CS/IT).

Years of Experience : 10+ years.

Technical Skills Required :

Mandatory :

Domain Knowledge :

- Networking product testing OR.

- Virtualization product testing OR.

- Any System software product testing.

Product/Module Ownership :

- Provide quality deliveries of products/modules.

- Collaboration with Developers, Product Managers, and QA Engineers to enable smooth release cycles.

- Maintaining releases of owned products/modules.

Manual Testing :

- Good knowledge of manual testing methodologies, techniques.

- Good understanding of QA processes and management.

- Hands on experience of designing test plans, test strategies.

- Proven ability to manage team and assigning tasks.

- Defect Management, Defect Prioritization, Test Case Management.

- Knowledge of test management and defect management tools.

- Reporting and communication.

- Drive test summary reports and release notes based on the information gathered during testing.

- Understanding the test metrices, prepare and share with stake holders.

- Ability to communicate effectively with team and management.

- Hands on experience in releasing products/builds to customers with supporting documents.

- Hands on experience in documentations of product communication flows and product guides System.

- Good understanding of server configurations.

- Good networking concepts.

- Excellent troubleshooting skills involving network and system level debugging.

- Deep understanding of TCP/IP and basic Networking protocols like DNS, HTTP, MAIL etc OR virtualization.

- Good knowledge of cloud technologies.

Good to have :

- Scrum development experience.

- Automation/Performance Testing.

- Hands on experience in automation.

- Knowledge of other Cloud technologies (Azure, AWS, Oracle, Google Clouds).

- Virtualization (VMware, Nutanix, Microsoft Hyper-V).

- System Administration.

Roles and Responsibilities :

- Understanding requirements & create test cases and test plans.

- Ensure knowledge sharing amongst team members for better product quality deliveries.

- Oversee and review work of test members.

- Ensure timely execution of test cases.

- Efficient reporting and communication skills.

- Mentoring new team members.

- Work with various stakeholders across teams and prioritize deliverables.

- Will lead a team of 5-10 people (2+ years of experience).

- Reviewing test cases, and defects and guiding team members on test coverage and day-to-day jobs.

- Mentor, who can lead from the front for planning to execution, works with a team.

- Oversee all aspects of QA including establishing metrics, applying industry best practices, and ensure Product quality goals are met.

- Establish and evolve formal QA processes, ensuring that the team is using best practices.
