Project Role Description :Administer, develop, test, or demonstrate databases. Perform many related database functions across one or more teams or clients, including designing, implementing and maintaining new databases, backup/recovery and configuration management. Install database management systems (DBMS) and provide input for modification of procedures and documentation used for problem resolution and day-to-day maintenance.

Summary:As a Database Administrator, you will administer, develop, test, or demonstrate databases. You will perform many related database functions across one or more teams or clients, including designing, implementing and maintaining new databases, backup/recovery and configuration management. Your typical day will involve installing database management systems (DBMS) and providing input for modification of procedures and documentation used for problem resolution and day-to-day maintenance.
Roles & Responsibilities:

Expected to perform independently and become an SME.

Required active participation/contribution in team discussions.

Contribute in providing solutions to work related problems.

Ensure the security, availability, and performance of the databases.

Design and implement database solutions based on business requirements.

Perform database administration tasks, including installation, configuration, and maintenance of database systems.

Monitor and optimize database performance, ensuring high availability and reliability.

Troubleshoot and resolve database issues, including performance bottlenecks and data integrity problems.

Collaborate with cross-functional teams to develop and implement database strategies and best practices.

Develop and maintain database documentation, including data models, schemas, and procedures.

Stay up-to-date with the latest trends and technologies in database administration.
Professional & Technical Skills:

Must To Have Skills:Proficiency in Qlik Sense.

Strong understanding of database management systems, including installation, configuration, and maintenance.

Experience in database design and implementation based on business requirements.

Knowledge of database performance tuning and optimization techniques.

Familiarity with backup and recovery procedures for databases.

Good To Have Skills:Experience with SQL Server or Oracle databases.

Experience with database security and access control.

Knowledge of data warehousing concepts and techniques.
Additional Information:

The candidate should have a minimum of 3 years of experience in Qlik Sense.

This position is based at our Bengaluru office.

A 15 years full time education is required.
