Summary:As a Test Automation Engineer, you will transform testing into a continuous and efficient end-to-end quality engineering function through the use of quality processes, tools, and methodologies significantly improving control, accuracy and integrity. You will evolve more predictive and intelligent testing approaches based on automation and innovative testing products and solutions. Your typical day will involve implementing quality processes, utilizing automation tools, and collaborating with cross-functional teams to ensure the delivery of high-quality software products.
Roles & Responsibilities:

Expected to perform independently and become an SME.

Required active participation/contribution in team discussions.

Contribute in providing solutions to work related problems.

Develop and execute automated test scripts to ensure the quality of software products.

Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand testing requirements and develop test plans.

Identify and report software defects and work with developers to resolve them.

Conduct root cause analysis of test failures and implement corrective actions.

Stay updated with the latest testing tools and technologies to improve testing efficiency.

Create and maintain test documentation including test cases, test scripts, and test data.

Provide technical guidance and mentorship to junior team members. Professional & Technical Skills:

Must To Have Skills:Proficiency in Cucumber, JAVA

Experience with test automation frameworks such as Selenium or Appium.

Strong understanding of software testing methodologies and best practices.

Knowledge of programming languages such as Java or Python.

Familiarity with version control systems such as Git.

Good To Have Skills:Experience with continuous integration and delivery tools such as Jenkins.

Recommendation:Familiarity with Agile development methodologies.

Recommendation:Knowledge of performance testing tools such as JMeter. Additional Information:

The candidate should have a minimum of 2 years of experience in Embedded Applications Testing.

This position is based at our Bengaluru office.
