Ecolab is searching for a driven Accounts Payable Helpdesk Manager for future opportunities within our Finance division in Pune, India.

You will be responsible for coordinating and managing the account payable vendor helpdesk team that supports and responds to inquiries coming through the AP processing email box. This individual is responsible for the overall success, productivity and engagement of the Vendor Helpdesk team, including supervisors and analysts. This role is involved with ensuring overall productivity and workload balancing, as well as specific SLA requirements established by the business and market. This manager works closely with the other Accounts Payable functional managers (Invoice processing, payment processing), as well as provides insights and analytics to the Accounts Payable director.

What You Will Do:

  • Oversee Vendor helpdesk team supervisors and analysts
  • Review team performance against applicable metrics and KPI's
  • Report results to AP Director for consolidation
  • Responsible for engagement, recruiting and hiring responsibilities within their team
  • Subject matter expert for corporate and GBS+ projects as needed
  • Identify and help implement continuous improvement projects
  • Work closely with the Procurement team to escalate and resolve key issues involving suppliers and on improvement projects as needed
  • Ensures compliance with all Service Level agreements (SLA's) across the organization for their team
  • Champion knowledge management efforts within the team by overseeing the identification and updating of knowledge, ensuring quality and relevance
  • Facilitate continuous improvement by fostering a culture of innovation and supporting team members in implementing improvement ideas

Minimum Qualifications:

  • Relevant degree and 8+ years of experience. Relevant functional experience in accounts payable/credit/financial and leading others.
  • Familiarity with fundamental business principles, processes, and terminology
  • Proven ability to work in an international environment and with multiple stakeholders
  • Willingness to learn and adapt to new tools, technologies, and processes in a dynamic business environment
  • Ability to work with data accurately and attention to details. Excellent verbal and written communications
  • Understanding of relevant laws, regulations, and industry standards related to dispute resolution
  • Fluent in English
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office applications Excel and Access
  • Proficiency in ERP Systems- SAP, AS400
  • Knowledge of Concur or other Travel expense management programs
