Summary:As a Software Development Lead, you will be responsible for developing and configuring software systems either end-to-end or for a specific stage of the product lifecycle. You will apply your knowledge of technologies, applications, methodologies, processes, and tools to support clients, projects, or entities. Your typical day will involve collaborating with the team, making team decisions, engaging with multiple teams, and providing solutions to problems for your immediate team and across multiple teams. You will also contribute to key decisions and provide guidance to ensure successful project delivery. We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Azure Data Engineer to join our manufacturing team. The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in designing, developing, and maintaining data solutions in the Microsoft Azure cloud platform. As an Azure Data Engineer, you will work closely with cross-functional teams to enable data-driven decision-making and enhance data-driven processes within our manufacturing operations.Key Responsibilities:1.Data Architecture and Modeling:

Design and develop data architectures, data models, and data pipelines on Microsoft Azure.

Create and maintain data integration solutions, ETL processes, and data transformations.2.Data Ingestion and Integration:

Implement data ingestion solutions to collect data from various sources, including sensors, IoT devices, and manufacturing equipment.

Integrate data from on-premises systems and cloud-based sources into Azure data repositories.3.Data Storage and Management:

Create and manage data storage solutions in Azure, such as Azure SQL Data Warehouse, Azure Data Lake Storage, and Azure Cosmos DB.

Ensure data security, compliance, and governance best practices are followed.4.Data Analysis and Reporting:

Develop data analytics and reporting solutions using tools like Azure Data Factory, Power BI, and Azure Analysis Services.

Support data visualization and reporting for manufacturing insights and KPI monitoring.5.Performance Optimization:

Optimize data pipelines, queries, and storage to ensure high performance and scalability.

Monitor and troubleshoot data-related issues and implement solutions as needed.6.Automation and DevOps:

Automate data processes and workflows using Azure DevOps and CI/CD pipelines.

Collaborate with the IT team to ensure the smooth deployment and operation of data solutions.7.Documentation and Training:

Create and maintain comprehensive documentation for data solutions and processes.

Provide training and support to manufacturing staff on data-related tools and processes.8.Data Governance and Compliance:

Implement and enforce data governance policies, ensuring data quality and security.

Ensure compliance with industry-specific regulations and data protection standards.Technical Experience

Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related field.

Proven experience as a data engineer with a focus on Azure services.

Proficiency in SQL, T-SQL, and data query languages.

Strong expertise in Microsoft Azure services, including Azure Data Factory, Azure SQL Database, Azure Data Lake, and Azure Analysis Services.

Knowledge of data warehousing concepts, data modeling, and ETL processes.

Experience with data visualization tools, such as Power BI.

Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to work in a collaborative team environment.

Excellent communication skills and the ability to translate business requirements into technical solutions.Professional Attributes:
