Project Role Description :Establish and enforce data governance policies to ensure the accuracy, integrity, and security of organizational data. Collaborate with key stakeholders to define data standards, facilitate effective data collection, storage, access, and usage; and drive data stewardship initiatives for comprehensive and effective data governance.

"Primary Skill:Data Governance AdministratorResponsibilities:Configure and maintain catalog functionality, templates, and workflows.Set up connections to various data sources and execute processes to ingest metadata into the catalog and enable data lineage.Provide daily operational support for the application, including job monitoring, additions/updates/deletion of assets, and active directory role management.Develop and publish Catalog metric and usage queries for use in metrics dashboards.Test and perform application upgrades.Handle Help Desk Ticket Resolution related to the Catalog application.Research new capabilities and propose enhancements.Manage user access base controlsRequirements:Proficiency in Data Governance, with experience in Alex Solutions, Unity catalog or Microsoft PurviewAdministration and management of data catalog tools.Experience with metadata/business glossary tools.Strong SQL skills and proficiency in other query tools.Ability to analyze and understand data.Experience:5 to 12 yearsMandatory Skills:Data Governance (Alex solutions, Unity catalog), Ticketing tools like service now or Jira, Good analytical skills, SQL Secondary Skills:Experience with Catalog Tool administration, with exposure to Unity catalog, Microsoft Purview, Collibra, or Informatica being a plus.Change management skills.Metric monitoring and reporting.Documentation skills.Customer service orientation.Should have ability to learn and work on different data governance toolsStrong problem-solving and troubleshooting abilities."
