Perform many related database functions across one or more teams or clients, including designing, implementing and maintaining new databases, backup/recovery and configuration management. Install database management systems (DBMS) and provide input for modification of procedures and documentation used for problem resolution and day-to-day maintenance.

Summary:As a Database Administrator, you will administer, develop, test, or demonstrate databases. Perform many related database functions across one or more teams or clients, including designing, implementing and maintaining new databases, backup/recovery and configuration management. Install database management systems (DBMS) and provide input for modification of procedures and documentation used for problem resolution and day-to-day maintenance.
Roles & Responsibilities:Hands on experience or certification in Oracle Database Cloud Services skills is mandatory.Experience in Oracle Database 11g/12c/18c/19c/21c and Grid InfrastructureDesign and implement database in accordance to end users information needs and viewsDefine users and enable data distribution to the right user, in appropriate format and in a timely mannerDefine a reliable backup strategy and configure database backups for error free executions followed by periodic restorationsMinimize database downtime and manage parameters to provide fast query responsesProvide proactive and reactive data management support and training to usersDetermine, enforce and document database policies, procedures and standardsMonitor database performance, implement changes and apply new patches and versions when requiredBuild Disaster Recovery environment for database, drive and support DR drillsSupport and collaborate with product developers and support them in writing high performing / optimized PLSQL codes
Professional & Technical Skills:- Must To Have Skills:Proficiency in Oracle Database Administration (DBA)5+ years of experience in administering databases, RAC and database systemsLead prototyping architecture and implementationConfiguration and managing life cycle management of Oracle Databases in cloud includes DBaaS , ExaCC , ExaCS and Autonomous DatabasesOCI Certified Architect professional and/or one Oracle Database Specialty level certificationStrong automation/infrastructure background with exposure to the majority of services in OCIStrong understanding of OCI architectures across containerization microservices and serverless in OCI
Additional Information:- The candidate should have a minimum of 5 years of experience in Oracle Database Administration (DBA)- This position is based at our Pune office- A 15 years full time education is required
