Summary:As an Application Developer, you will design, build, and configure applications to meet business process and application requirements. Your typical day will involve collaborating with cross-functional teams to develop innovative solutions and ensure the smooth functioning of applications.
Roles & Responsibilities:- Expected to be a SME with deep knowledge and experience.- Should have Influencing and Advisory skills.- Responsible for team decisions.- Engage with multiple teams and contribute on key decisions.- Expected to provide solutions to problems that apply across multiple teams.- Collaborate with stakeholders to gather and analyze requirements.- Design, develop, and test high-quality software applications.- Troubleshoot and debug applications to resolve issues.- Ensure applications are scalable, secure, and performant.- Conduct code reviews and provide constructive feedback.- Stay updated with the latest industry trends and technologies.- Mentor junior developers and provide guidance.- Contribute to the continuous improvement of development processes and practices.
Professional & Technical Skills:- Must To Have Skills:Proficiency in Apache Spark, PySpark, Google BigQuery.- Strong understanding of distributed computing and parallel processing.- Experience with data processing frameworks like Hadoop and Spark.- Hands-on experience with programming languages like Java or Scala.- Knowledge of SQL and database systems.- Familiarity with cloud platforms like AWS or Azure.- Experience with version control systems like Git.- Good To Have Skills:Experience with machine learning algorithms and libraries.- Knowledge of data streaming technologies like Kafka or Flink.- Understanding of containerization technologies like Docker or Kubernetes.
Additional Information:- The candidate should have a minimum of 15 years of experience in Apache Spark.- This position is based at our Bengaluru office.- A 15 years full-time education is required.
