Summary:As an Operations Engineer, you will support the operations and/or manage delivery for production systems and services based on operational requirements and service agreement. Your typical day will involve ensuring smooth operations and timely delivery of services. Roles & Responsibilities:- Expected to perform independently and become an SME.- Required active participation/contribution in team discussions.- Contribute in providing solutions to work related problems.- Manage and monitor production systems to ensure smooth operations.- Collaborate with team members to address operational challenges.- Implement best practices to optimize service delivery.- Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues efficiently.- Document processes and procedures for future reference. Professional & Technical Skills:- Must To Have Skills:Proficiency in IBM AS/400 Administration.- Strong understanding of system administration and maintenance.- Experience with system monitoring and performance tuning.- Knowledge of backup and recovery procedures.- Familiarity with ITIL framework for service management. Additional Information:- The candidate should have a minimum of 3 years of experience in IBM AS/400 Administration.- This position is based at our Coimbatore office.- A 15 years full time education is required.
