What would you do?
You will be aligned with our Risk and Compliance vertical and help us perform compliance reviews, publish reports with actions and provide closure guidance as needed. We design & recommend effective controls to mitigate risks and help service delivery team prepare for upcoming client / external audits.You will be working as a part of the Risk & compliance team which is responsible for helping clients and organizations identify risks and create mitigation plans.You will be performing risk assessments of various occupancies from a property insurance loss prevention perspective in support of global account engineers & underwriters. The risk assessments will be completed by conducting an analysis of submitted values, as well as various construction, protection, & occupancy features which would be determined through the receipt of a loss prevention survey report. You will be interpreting these reports & translating the information into risk quality ratings and fire/Nat Cat loss estimates following guidelines, utilizing available tools and utilities. You will review accounts for essential elements for location assessment as per guidelines, focusing on major findings & Loss Estimates from LDRs, & providing an overall account analysis & Rating to underwriters for risk selection.

Qualifications Experience in financial services and wealth management processes (e.g., money movement) Strong stakeholder management Excellent written and oral communication skills, interpersonal and presentation skills to effectively interact throughout the company High attention to detail Ability to work independently with minimal supervision Professions Skills Requirements Strong Microsoft Excel skills Strong process-related skills Organized and detail-oriented Strong Excel Skills with experience in manipulating large sets of data in Excel Should have worked in Risk and Compliance process / Framework for at least 24-36 months in the recent past Experience in SOC 1 and SOC 2, IT General Controls, IT Application Control Testing, and IT SOX Ability to analyze and evaluate the observations based on controls, operations, risk model and performance Proven analytical and problem-solving abilities Willingness to work flexible hours, as necessary, to meet monthly and quarterly deliverable deadlines Recommended Certifications, Licenses, etc.:CIA, CISA Work Experience:5+ Years of Experience in a Finance or Audit function for a publicly held US-traded company (including Accounting, Internal Audit and/or Internal Controls) or equivalent if employed in a non-US country (preferred) Risk and Controls testing expertise and experience SOX / ICFR testing expertise and experience
Roles and Responsibilities:

Assist in the following tasks to senior colleagues in the Risk & Controls Team:Assist control owners in identifying and analyzing inherent risks and controls within IT applications and supporting infrastructure Execute timely quality review and testing of prioritized IT controls aligned to the control testing plan Design new, or update, test scripts as needed based on changes in the Risk and Controls Matrices Testing of Controls Effectiveness includes:Coordinate with test lead on data/access needs and sample selection Conducting walkthroughs of process and control design Inspecting evidence to ensure control activities are performed accurately and consistently Complete control test scripts, gather and document appropriate evidence with results Concluding on the Design/Operating Effectiveness of each internal control For those controls assessed as ineffective, notifying the responsible party that an action plan is required. Report and escalate control gaps and identified issues to supervisor. Provide input into control gap remediations and issue documentation Develop an understanding of relevant GRC and control testing workflow tools Develop standard email notifications / communications in order to facilitate the proper and timely execution of the control's procedures (document request lists, workshop invites, root cause analyses, etc.)
