Summary:As an Application Lead, you will lead the effort to design, build, and configure applications, acting as the primary point of contact. You will be responsible for ensuring the successful delivery of projects and providing technical guidance to the team. Your typical day will involve collaborating with stakeholders, analyzing requirements, designing solutions, and overseeing the development and implementation of applications. You will also be involved in troubleshooting and resolving technical issues, as well as providing support and guidance to junior team members.
Roles & Responsibilities:

Expected to be a SME with deep knowledge and experience.

Responsible for team decisions.

Engage with multiple teams and contribute on key decisions.

Expected to provide solutions to problems that apply across multiple teams.

Collaborate with stakeholders to understand business requirements and translate them into technical solutions.

Design, develop, and configure applications based on business needs and industry best practices.

Lead and guide the development team throughout the software development lifecycle.

Ensure the successful delivery of projects within the defined scope, timeline, and budget.

Provide technical guidance and support to team members, including mentoring and coaching.

Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues, ensuring the stability and performance of applications.

Conduct code reviews and ensure adherence to coding standards and best practices.

Collaborate with cross-functional teams to drive continuous improvement and innovation.

Stay updated with the latest industry trends and technologies, and recommend improvements to enhance application performance and functionality.
Professional & Technical Skills:

Must To Have Skills:Proficiency in SAP for Utilities Retail.

Strong understanding of software development methodologies and best practices.

Experience in leading and managing application development projects.

In-depth knowledge of SAP modules and functionalities related to Utilities Retail.

Hands-on experience in designing and configuring SAP applications.

Experience in troubleshooting and resolving technical issues in SAP applications.

Good To Have Skills:Experience with SAP S/4HANA and SAP Fiori.

Knowledge of integration between SAP and other systems.

Experience in data migration and system integration testing.

Familiarity with agile development methodologies.

Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills.

Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
Additional Information:

The candidate should have a minimum of 15 years of experience in SAP for Utilities Retail.

This position is based at our Kolkata office.

A 15 years full-time education is required.
