About the Role:We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced IP and Transport Network Project Manager to join our team for a 5G rollout project. The ideal candidate will be responsible for managing the deployment and integration of IP and transport network components, ensuring seamless connectivity and coordination with other domains.Key Responsibilities:

Project Management:Lead and manage IP and transport network projects from initiation to completion, ensuring all project objectives are met.

Technical Support:Provide technical support to the deployment lead, assisting with the resolution of technical issues and ensuring smooth deployment processes.

Activity Tracking:Track all IP and transport network deployment activities, ensuring they are completed on time and within scope.

Coordination:Ensure effective orchestration with all other domains, including network planning, engineering, and operations.

Project Plan Tracking:Develop and maintain detailed project plans, tracking progress against milestones and adjusting plans as necessary.

Vendor Management:Manage relationships with deployment vendors, ensuring they meet project requirements and deliverables.

Risk Management:Identify potential risks and develop mitigation strategies to ensure project continuity.

Quality Assurance:Ensure all IP and transport network deployment activities meet quality standards and comply with industry regulations.

Reporting:Provide regular updates to senior management and stakeholders, highlighting key achievements and any issues.
Qualifications:

Education:Bachelor's degree in Telecommunications, Electrical Engineering, or a related field. A Master's degree is a plus.

Experience:Minimum of 10 years of experience in project management within the telecommunications industry, specifically in IP and transport network deployment.

Certifications:PMP, PRINCE2, or equivalent project management certification preferred.

Technical Skills:oIP Technologies:Strong understanding of IP technologies including IPv4/IPv6, MPLS, VPNs, BGP, OSPF, and other routing protocols.oTransport Network:Knowledge of transport network technologies such as DWDM, SDH, and Ethernet.oNetwork Security:Familiarity with network security protocols and practices, including firewalls, IPSec, and SSL/TLS.o5G Deployment:Experience with 5G deployment strategies and network architecture.oIP Management Tools:Proficiency with tools such as Cisco Prime, SolarWinds, NetFlow Analyzer, Wireshark, and Nagios for network monitoring and management.

Soft Skills:Excellent leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills. Ability to work under pressure and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
