Summary:As an Application Developer, you will design, build, and configure applications to meet business process and application requirements. Your typical day will involve collaborating with teams to develop solutions that align with business needs and requirements.
Roles & Responsibilities:

Provide ongoing support and maintenance for Oracle Cloud reporting solutions post-go-live, addressing any issues that arise,

Design, develop, and optimize custom reports using Oracle tools like BI Publisher and OTBI to meet business requirements.

Continuously monitor and optimize report performance, ensuring efficient data retrieval and minimal impact on system resources.

Provide training to end-users on accessing and using reports effectively, and develop documentation to support ongoing report maintenance

Work closely with functional consultants and business users to understand reporting needs and deliver tailored solutions, Troubleshoot and resolve any technical issues related to reporting

Ensuring minimal disruption to business operations

Lead efforts to enhance existing reports and develop new reports as business needs evolve, particularly during post-hypercare phases.
Professional & Technical Skills:

Extensive experience with Oracle reporting tools, including BI Publisher, Oracle Transactional Business Intelligence (OTBI)

Proficiency in SQL and PL/SQL for developing complex queries and stored procedures to support reporting needs

Experience in data modeling and understanding of relational database concepts to optimize report design

Strong understanding of Oracle Financials modules (GL, AP, AR, FA, CM) and how they integrate with reporting tools

Familiarity with ETL processes and tools for transforming and loading data into reporting environments

Expertise in optimizing report performance, including query optimization and database tuning

Knowledge of implementing security and compliance measures in reporting environments, ensuring data integrity and confidentiality.

Strong attention to detail, ensuring accuracy and consistency in all reports developed and maintained

Excellent problem-solving skills, with the ability to troubleshoot and resolve complex reporting issues efficiently

Strong verbal and written communication skills

capable of translating technical information into clear business language for end-users

Proven ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams, including IT, finance, and business users, to deliver reporting solutions

Focused on delivering high-quality reports that meet the specific needs of the business and provide actionable insights

Ability to adapt to changing business requirements and priorities, particularly in a fast-paced post-go-live environment

Excellent time management skills, capable of prioritizing tasks and managing workload to meet deadlines.
Additional Information:

Certifications:Oracle certifications related to reporting tools and Oracle Financials are highly desirable.

The candidate should have a minimum of 7.5 years of experience in Oracle Cloud Application Development
