Project Role Description :Support the operations and/or manage delivery for production systems and services based on operational requirements and service agreement.

Must Have Skills:1At least 3 years of experience as a DB2 Database Administrator, with specific experience in IBM DB2 Pure Scale environments.2Strong knowledge of DB2 architecture, installation, and configuration.3Experience with database performance tuning and optimization.4Proficiency in SQL and scripting languages (e.g., Shell, Perl, Python).5Familiarity with database backup and recovery procedures.6Knowledge of database security best practices.7Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills.8Strong communication and collaboration skills.Good to Have:1IBM Certified Database Administrator DB2 for LUW (Linux, UNIX, and Windows).2Experience with other database systems (e.g., MSSQL, Oracle, Postgre, Redis and DataStax)Job Responsibilities:1Provide 24 x 7 Support to Critical production systems. 2 Install, configure, and maintain IBM DB2 Pure Scale databases.3Monitor and optimize database performance.4Implement and manage database backup and recovery processes.5Perform database tuning and capacity planning.6Design and implement high availability solutions using IBM DB2 Pure Scale. Develop and maintain disaster recovery plans.7Ensure database security by implementing and managing user roles and permissions. Monitor for security breaches and respond to incidents.8Provide support for database-related issues and perform root cause analysis.9Collaborate with development teams to resolve application-related database issues.10Maintain detailed documentation of database configurations, procedures, and changes.11Generate reports on database performance and usage metrics
