Summary:As an Application Developer, you will design, build, and configure applications to meet business process and application requirements. You will be responsible for ensuring the smooth functioning of applications and providing solutions to work-related problems. A typical day in this role involves collaborating with team members, analyzing requirements, developing code, and testing applications. You will also actively participate in team discussions and contribute to providing solutions to work-related problems, making this role ideal for someone who enjoys working independently and becoming a subject matter expert.
Roles & Responsibilities:

Expected to perform independently and become an SME.

Required active participation/contribution in team discussions.

Contribute in providing solutions to work-related problems.

Collaborate with team members to analyze business requirements and translate them into technical specifications.

Design, develop, and test applications using PTC Thingworx.

Troubleshoot and debug applications to ensure their smooth functioning.

Implement best practices and coding standards to ensure high-quality deliverables.

Stay updated with the latest industry trends and technologies to continuously enhance skills and knowledge.

Assist in the deployment and maintenance of applications.

Provide technical support and guidance to team members when required.
Professional & Technical Skills:

Must To Have Skills:Proficiency in PTC Thingworx.

Good To Have Skills:Experience with other IoT platforms such as AWS IoT or Azure IoT.

Strong understanding of software development principles and methodologies.

Experience in designing and developing scalable and secure applications.

Knowledge of RESTful APIs and web services.

Familiarity with database management systems and SQL.

Ability to troubleshoot and debug complex application issues.

Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills.
Additional Information:

The candidate should have a minimum of 3 years of experience in PTC Thingworx.

This position is based at our Chennai office.
