Solution and Innovation (S&I) Advisory. The S&I Advisory team is a specialty sales advisory service within Accenture's Strategy & Consulting Global Network. We are specialists aligned to Accenture's priority business offerings with expertise in how to go-to-market and best position Accenture to win consulting work. We are a sales lab that works closely with sales leadership, equipping them with relevant market insights, customized sales messages, and curated sales assets to originate, sell, and win.

You are:

You are an experienced Senior Consulting Leader who will seed & lead a multi-industry team focused on providing pre-sales solution architecting support. You will play a critical part in shaping deals, developing strategic proposals, and preparing client-facing materials, enabling our client teams excel in selling consulting work. You will also seed and grow this team which will focus on multiple industries including Automotive & OEM, Industrial Equipment, Consumer Durables, Logistics, Aerospace & Defense. From a functional standpoint, you will manage deals focused around areas like Digital PLM, B2B applications, software-defined vehicles, S4/HANA Led Transformation, Generative AI, Data Monetization, and Business Process Outsourcing (BPO).

The work:

As a Solution & Innovation Advisory Senior Manager, you provide high touch sales support to our Industrials team comprising following industries:
  • Automotive & OEM,
  • Industrial Equipment,
  • Consumer Durables,
  • Transport & Logistics,
  • Aerospace & Defense

  • This work will include but is not limited to the following:

    Planning and Origination
  • Support annual planning to outline sales targets, target clients, and enhancement of sales assets.
  • Conduct ongoing research to identify which companies to target over next 6-12 months.
  • Support sales / pipeline reviews with leaders.
  • Prepare for and support first conversations with potential clients.
  • Proposals / Orals
  • Define proposal response requirements and best sales messaging approach.
  • Bring the latest knowledge and best of content to each opportunity (e.g., industry trends benchmarking, competitive insights, etc.).
  • Help shape the overall solution (approach, team, pricing, differentiators, etc.) to best fit the deal requirements.
  • Prepare and help lead orals with innovating ways of selling to help differentiate Accenture.
  • Content Management / Continuous Improvement
  • Support development of go-to-market approach / assets.
  • Maintain global repository of sales assets (e.g., proposals, stage 0 decks credentials, etc.).
  • Conduct reviews (loss / delivery) with client teams to understand how we can improve sales and harvest deliverables.
  • Key Responsibilities:
  • Team Building & Leadership:Seed and oversee a multi-disciplinary team, which could offer deal support across industries and capabilities. Over time grow and manage the team to enhance the service coverage across geographies.
  • Industry-Specific Deal Support - Own the end-to-end deal solutioning, including solution architecture, feasibility assessments, business case development, and proposal creation for clients across multiple industries.
  • Tailored Multi-Team Engagement:Partner & Collaborate with multiple teams across Accenture involved in selling & delivering work including Market Leads, Client Account Leads, Global Network Teams, and other Sales Support teams (including other teams in S&I Advisory team).
  • Thought Leadership & Asset Creation:Act as an industry expert, staying ahead of emerging trends such as autonomous vehicles, Industry 4.0, digital twin technologies, Generative AI and AI-driven operational efficiencies, offering innovative insights on deals, and building strategic assets which could enhance Accenture's competitive advantage in the market.

  • Primary Industry & Capabilities:
  • Automotive/Automotive OEM:Strong understanding of software-defined vehicles, connected and autonomous systems, electric vehicle (EV) supply chain transformations and automotive PLM.
  • Industrial Equipment:Expertise in smart manufacturing, Industry 4.0, and industrial automation.
  • Secondary areas of expertise
  • Consumer Durables: Know-how of B2B consumerization, digital supply chain platforms, and generative AI-driven customer personalization.
  • Transport & Logistics:Proven track record in optimizing logistics operations, digital freight platforms, and leveraging data monetization in transit systems.
  • Aerospace & Defense:Deep knowledge of complex manufacturing, supply chain resilience, and defense contract requirements.
  • Technology Expertise:
  • Extensive experience with SAP-led transformations, including S/4HANA, cloud migrations, and integrating SAP with legacy systems across manufacturing and supply chains.
  • Good to have knowhow on Product Lifecycle Management (PLM) systems, particularly in any of these industries - automotive, aerospace, and industrial equipment.
  • Solid knowledge of emerging technologies like Generative AI, B2B applications, digital twins, and IoT.
  • Proven ability to conceptualize and design solutions that incorporate advanced capabilities such as software-defined vehicles and smart logistics ecosystems.
  • Leadership & Solution Advisory Excellence:
  • 12+ years of experience in consulting or pre-sales leadership roles.
  • Demonstrated success in leading complex solution advisory engagements, including crafting proposals, solution design, and presenting to C-suite executives.
  • Must support/mirror working hours for the supported market/geography or other business area. Must be flexible with working hours to meet shifting business needs.
  • Business Acumen & Communication:Exceptional communication, presentation, and stakeholder management skills, with a proven ability to influence senior client decision-makers in multiple industries.
  • Education: MBA from a tier 1 institute
