Job Title:Application Lead- Packaged Application Development (SAP Program & Project Delivery Lead)

Summary:As the SAP Program & Project Delivery Lead, you will oversee the strategic planning, execution, and delivery of SAP programs and projects. Your role will involve managing complex SAP implementations, ensuring alignment with business objectives, and leading cross-functional teams to deliver high-quality solutions on time and within budget. You will act as the primary point of contact for stakeholders, drive project success, and optimize program delivery.As an Application Lead specializing in Packaged Application Development, you'll spearhead the design, development, and configuration of applications, primarily focusing on SAP ABAP Development for HANA.
Roles & Responsibilities:Lead the end-to-end management of SAP programs, including planning, execution, monitoring, and closing. Ensure that program objectives align with organizational goals and deliver business value.Primary Point of Contact:Serve as the main liaison for project-related communications, working closely with cross-functional teams to achieve project goals.Guide and mentor cross-functional project teams, fostering a collaborative environment. Ensure team members have the necessary skills and support to achieve project objectives as part of Team Leadership.Identify potential risks and issues throughout the project lifecycle. Develop and implement mitigation strategies to address and resolve challenges.Drive continuous improvement in project delivery processes, leveraging lessons learned and best practices to enhance future project outcomes.Technical Guidance:Provide expert technical direction and mentorship to team members, ensuring the creation of high-quality, effective solutions.Stakeholder Collaboration:Engage with stakeholders to grasp business requirements and translate them into actionable technical solutions.Innovation:Keep abreast of the latest advancements in SAP ABAP Development for HANA, incorporating innovative approaches to maintain a competitive edge.
Professional & Technical Skills:Essential Skills:Expertise in SAP ABAP Development for HANA. Expertise in project management methodologies and tools (e.g., Agile, Waterfall) Ability to manage cross-functional teams and lead complex projects. Strong knowledge of SAP modules, including S/4HANA, and related technologies.Desirable Skills:Experience with SAP Fiori, SAPUI5, and SAP HANA Cloud Platform.Knowledge Base:Deep understanding of SAP ABAP best practices and standards, along with hands-on experience with SAP NetWeaver, Eclipse, and SAP HANA Studio.Experience:Proven track record in leading the design, development, and implementation of SAP ABAP Development for HANA solutions. Experience leading large SAP implementations and managing multi-million-dollar projects. Experience with at least one full SAP lifecycle implementation.
Additional Information:Experience Required:Minimum of 18 years of experience in SAP Program & Project Management5 years of experience leading large SAP implementations and managing multi-million-dollar projects.Experience with at least one S/4 HANA implementation project.Experience with SAP transformations, pre-sales activities, and leading large implementation teams.Experience in managing business change, understanding value cases, and making decisions based on business value is advantageous. Prior customer-facing roles and client management experience are preferred.Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to influence and engage stakeholders at all levels.Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with a focus on delivering results.Experience in managing client relationships and ensuring client satisfaction.
