Summary:As a Security Architect, you will define the cloud security framework and architecture, ensuring it meets the business requirements and performance goals. You will document the implementation of the cloud security controls and transition to cloud security-managed operations. Your typical day will involve designing and implementing security solutions, collaborating with cross-functional teams, and ensuring the integrity and confidentiality of data in the cloud environment.
Roles & Responsibilities:- Expected to be an SME in Security Information and Event Management (SIEM)- Collaborate and manage the team to perform effectively- Responsible for team decisions and ensuring adherence to security best practices- Engage with multiple teams and contribute to key decisions- Expected to provide solutions to problems that apply across multiple teams- Design and implement security solutions to protect cloud environments- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure the integrity and confidentiality of data- Ensure adherence to security policies, standards, and best practices
Professional & Technical Skills:-Monitor Security Alerts:Continuously monitor security systems and logs for suspicious activities and potential security breaches.Utilize Security Information and Event Management (SIEM) tools and other security technologies to identify and analyze threats.Incident Response:Respond promptly to security incidents, including analyzing and containing threats.Follow incident response protocols to mitigate the impact of security breaches and coordinate with relevant teams.Threat Analysis:Analyze security incidents to determine the nature, impact, and scope of threats.Conduct forensic investigations to understand the methods used by attackers and provide recommendations for improving defenses.Documentation and Reporting:Maintain detailed records of security incidents, including actions taken and outcomes.Prepare and present incident reports and summaries to management and other stakeholders.Vulnerability Management:Assist in identifying and assessing security vulnerabilities in systems and applications.Work with IT and security teams to ensure vulnerabilities are addressed and remediated.Security Tools Management:Manage and optimize security tools and systems to enhance monitoring and detection capabilities.Stay updated on the latest security technologies and threat intelligence.Compliance and Best Practices:Ensure that security operations comply with organizational policies, standards, and regulatory requirements.Participate in the development and implementation of security policies and procedures.Team Collaboration:Collaborate with other SOC team members, IT staff, and external partners to enhance overall security posture.Provide support and guidance to junior SOC staff and assist with training and knowledge sharing.
Additional Information:- The candidate should have a minimum of 12 years of experience in Security Information and Event Management (SIEM)- This position is based in Gurugram- A Bachelor or college degree in a related field or equivalent work experience is required
