Summary:As an Engineering Services Practitioner, you will assist with end-to-end engineering services to develop technical engineering solutions to solve problems and achieve business objectives. You will work across structural and stress design, qualification, configuration, and technical management. Your role will involve solving engineering problems and achieving business objectives using scientific, socio-economic, technical knowledge, and practical experience. Roles & Responsibilities:

Expected to be a SME with deep knowledge and experience - Electric Vehicles (EV) knowledge

Drive Delivery team for Automotive / Aerospace

Build New Capability on Automotive Engineering.

Some of the capabilities are Value Engineering, Manufacturing Engineering, Stress, Design Engineering, Technical Publication or After sales, Automotive Embedded software

Inclination to learn new Technologies like GenAI and other Automation to create Differentiated offerings or Capabilities. Work with Delivery teams to understand the pain points and how it can be resolved thru new offerings, Capabilities. Should have Influencing and Advisory skills.

Responsible for team decisions.

Engage with multiple teams and contribute on key decisions.

Expected to provide solutions to problems that apply across multiple teams.

Collaborate with cross-functional teams to develop technical engineering solutions.

Conduct research and analysis to identify engineering problems and propose effective solutions.

Provide technical guidance and support to project teams.

Participate in design reviews and provide recommendations for improvement.

Contribute to the development and implementation of engineering standards and best practices.
Professional & Technical Skills:

Must To Have Skills:Must have Electric Vehicles (EV) knowledge and Proficiency in Automotive Engineering. oDelivery experience in Engineering function in automotive, Industrial, heavy engineering or any other engineering industry.oTechnical expertise in Automotive Embedded software, Mechanical, Electrical oPeople management. Ability to handle large teams.oAutomotive Practice, Offering Development view.

Strong understanding of structural and stress design principles.

Experience in qualification and configuration management.

Knowledge of technical management practices.

Experience in conducting research and analysis to solve engineering problems.
Additional Information:

The candidate should have a minimum of 15 years of experience in Automotive

Delivery experience in experience in Automotive in Large Services companies. IPP's

Drive Thought Leadership / POVs Engineering space.

Knowledge of different technologies which have impact on enhancing engineering industries, like:Core Engineering, Embedded software, Manufacturing Engineering,

Experience of working in the global market on these areas will be an added advantage.

Worked implementation of technology in engineering domains and derived significant benefits from it.

Interfaced with customer and have orientation to bring value to customers.

Ability to manage and lead a team of technical experts coming from engineering and technology.

Demonstrate team working and leadership to derive most benefits to customers and motivate team members.

Ability to take challenge of building new Practice or Capability and build business and teams from scratch.Engineering.

This position is based in Bengaluru.

BE / BTech Engineering Degree , 15 years full-time education is required.
