Methode Electronics India Pvt Ltd is looking for Engineers to be a part of Embedded product development team to work on all aspects of design, development, implementation, testing and validation of software for Automotive embedded system

Job Location: Bengaluru

Key Skills:

• Experience: 10+ years
• Excellent Embedded C and assembly programming skills.
• Expert in handling controller/processor peripherals like I2C, SPI, RS232, UART, CAN, USB.
• Experience on real - time operating system (RTOS).
• Understanding hardware schematics
• Component using laboratory equipment such as scopes, digital multi meters, reading of traces data from logic analyser.
• Project management, team mentoring.
• Firmware experience with sound knowledge of various micro controllers, peripherals, SoCs and embedded development environment.
• Experience in using development tools such as Emulators, Debuggers, Simulators.
• Experience in system level architecture and design.
• Expertise in using communication - I2C, RS232, SPI, UART, CAN, USB.
• Experience in handling automotive standard protocols like CAN, LIN.
• Experience structured approach to software development.
• Working on CMMI level processes.
• Experience with software configuration management tools.
• Experience in development of requirements, design documents and test case documents.

Job description

• Performing all aspects of design and development, implementation and test of firmware for automotive embedded system.
• Analyzing requirements, developing detailed software specifications and design algorithms, analyze CPU resource, coding and testing of firmware to meet specification and ensure firmware quality.
• Develop and maintain engineering documents to meet quality system requirements.
• Participate in design reviews.
• Support software validation process.
• Interaction with customer and other internal teams such as Electrical & Mechanical engineering for project management, project validation and manufacturing support.
• Support new business quotation activities.
