Summary:As an Application Designer, you will assist in defining requirements and designing applications to meet business process and application requirements. You will play a crucial role in ensuring that the applications are designed to effectively support the organization's needs and objectives. This includes collaborating with stakeholders to gather requirements, conducting analysis, and creating application designs that align with best practices and industry standards. Your expertise in SAP for Retail will be instrumental in developing innovative solutions that optimize business processes and enhance the overall user experience.
Roles & Responsibilities:

Assist in gathering and analyzing business requirements to understand the needs and objectives of the organization.

Collaborate with stakeholders, including business users and IT teams, to define application requirements and design solutions that meet those requirements.

Create detailed application designs, including user interfaces, data models, and system architectures, that align with best practices and industry standards.

Develop prototypes and proof-of-concepts to validate design concepts and gather feedback from stakeholders.

Ensure that the application designs are scalable, reliable, and maintainable, considering factors such as performance, security, and usability.

Collaborate with development teams to provide guidance and support during the implementation phase, ensuring that the designs are accurately translated into functional applications.

Conduct code reviews and provide feedback to ensure adherence to design principles and coding standards.

Stay updated with the latest trends and advancements in SAP for Retail and related technologies, and proactively identify opportunities to leverage them in application design and development.

Additional Responsibility 1:Mentor and guide junior professionals in application design best practices and SAP for Retail.

Additional Responsibility 2:Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify and implement process improvements that enhance the efficiency and effectiveness of application design and development. Professional & Technical Skills:

Must To Have Skills:Proficiency in SAP for Retail.

Strong understanding of application design principles and best practices.

Experience in designing and developing applications using SAP for Retail.

Knowledge of SAP modules and functionalities relevant to retail operations.

Experience with SAP integration technologies and tools.

Good To Have Skills:Experience with other SAP modules and functionalities.

Recommendation 1:Familiarity with SAP HANA and in-memory computing.

Recommendation 2:Knowledge of SAP Fiori for designing intuitive and user-friendly interfaces. Additional Information:

The candidate should have a minimum of 7.5 years of experience in SAP for Retail.

This position is based at our Bengaluru office.
