Engineer II - Software Development

Duties Responsibilities:

Responsible for building complex Java applications, troubleshooting the issue, and providing the fixes by following best practices.
This includes anything between complex groups of back-end services and implementation of CI/CD pipelines for build and deployment.
Primary responsibility will be to design, develop, troubleshoot these applications, and to coordinate with the rest of the team working on different layers of the infrastructure.
Thus, a commitment to collaborative problem solving, sophisticated design, and product quality is essential.

Knowledge, Experience Skills:

Around 3-5 years of experience in developing Enterprise applications using J2EE, Spring Framework, with the REST SOAP standards.
Minimum 2+ years of experience in application development using spring based Microservices
Experience with EJB, Spring Framework (including Spring Boot), Hibernate, iBatis, Oracle Databases.
Technical Expertise in Spring Framework [Core, Boot, Data, MVC] and WebServices (REST, SOAP) supporting high volume transactions in a distributed environment.
Thorough experience in writing high-quality code with full automated unit test coverage (Junit, Mockito, etc.)
Hands-on experience in Industry Standard security concepts like Certificates, Vaults, Key rotation, OAuth JWT.
Proficient with tools like Swagger, Putty, Maven, GIT Lab, IntelliJ IDEA, STS, SonarQube, JMeter etc.
Experience with multi-threading and performance tuning.
Strong agile/scrum development experience
Strong collaboration and communication skills within distributed project teams.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
Familiarity with front-end technologies such as Angular or React JS.

Hands on experience in writing DB queries.
Good to have hands on any application servers like IBM WebLogic, Websphere or Jboss.
