Safety Engineer

Roles and Responsibilities

• Conduct safety audits, inspections, and risk assessments to identify potential hazards and implement corrective actions.
  
• Develop and maintain a comprehensive understanding of industry regulations, standards, and best practices related to workplace safety.
  
• Collaborate with project teams to develop site-specific safety plans, procedures, and training programs.
  
• Provide guidance on safe work practices, emergency response planning, and incident investigation protocols.
  
• Ensure compliance with company policies, regulatory requirements, and client expectations.
  

Desired Candidate Profile

• 8-10 years of experience in EHS (Environmental Health & Safety) role with expertise in construction/infrastructure projects.
  
• Diploma/B.Tech/B.E. degree in Civil or Electrical field; NEBOSH certification preferred but not mandatory.
  
• Strong knowledge of HSE principles, ISO 45001:2018 OHSMS standard implementation.
