ABI Health - Implementation Manager (5-7 yrs)

Job Summary :

We are seeking an experienced Lab Information System (LIS) Implementation Manager to lead the deployment and integration of LIS solutions in clinical, research, and diagnostic laboratory environments. The role involves working closely with stakeholders, managing project timelines, ensuring compliance with regulatory standards, and optimizing LIS workflows.

Key Responsibilities :

- Lead the end-to-end implementation of LIS solutions, from planning to go-live and post-implementation support.

- Collaborate with laboratory personnel, IT teams, and vendors to ensure seamless LIS integration with existing hospital/laboratory information systems.

- Analyze laboratory workflows and configure the LIS to meet operational and regulatory requirements

- Develop project plans, timelines, and resource allocation strategies.

- Conduct user training sessions and create documentation for LIS users.

- Troubleshoot and resolve LIS-related issues during and after implementation.

- Ensure compliance with industry regulations (e.g., CLIA, CAP, HIPAA, GDPR) and data security standards.

- Facilitate communication between laboratory staff, IT teams, and LIS vendors.

- Evaluate LIS performance and recommend system enhancements or optimizations.

- Stay updated on advancements in LIS technology and best practices.

Required Qualifications & Skills :

- Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Healthcare Informatics, Medical Laboratory Science, or a related field.

- Minimum of 8 -10 years of experience in LIS implementation and project management.

- Strong knowledge of laboratory workflows, data management, and regulatory requirements.

- Excellent problem-solving, communication, and stakeholder management skills.

- Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a dynamic environment.

Preferred Experience :

- Experience working in a hospital, clinical, or diagnostic laboratory setting.

- Hands-on experience with LIS customization and interfacing with other healthcare systems.
