ABI Health - Mendix Developer (1-5 yrs)

About the Role :

We are looking for dynamic and motivated individuals with 1-5 years of experience in Mendix development to join our team.

As a Mendix Developer, you will design, develop, and deploy applications using the Mendix low-code platform, collaborating with cross-functional teams to deliver innovative solutions that drive business success.

Key Responsibilities :

Application Development :

- Design, develop, and deploy applications using the Mendix low-code platform.

- Build scalable and user-friendly applications aligned with business requirements.

Collaboration :

- Work closely with stakeholders, including business analysts, project managers, and end-users, to gather and translate requirements into functional applications.

- Collaborate with team members to integrate Mendix applications with other systems.

Testing and Debugging :

- Conduct thorough testing to ensure the functionality and performance of applications.

- Debug and resolve technical issues promptly.

Documentation :

- Prepare and maintain technical documentation, including application design, workflows, and user guides.

Continuous Improvement :

- Stay updated with the latest features of Mendix and implement best practices to enhance development efficiency.

- Identify opportunities for improvement in existing applications and processes.

Qualifications :

- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field.

- 1-5 years of experience in software development, with at least some exposure to Mendix (preferred but not mandatory for entry-level candidates).

- Strong understanding of application design and development principles.

- Familiarity with database concepts and basic SQL knowledge.

- Exposure to web technologies like HTML, CSS, and JavaScript is a plus.

Skills and Competencies :

- Ability to learn and adapt to new technologies quickly.

- Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.

- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

- Team player with a proactive approach to work.

- Familiarity with Agile development methodologies is advantageous.

Preferred Certifications :

- Mendix Rapid Developer Certification (or willingness to obtain).
