Senior Manager Revenue Management

Purpose of the role:

1. Develop and execute the pricing strategy, ensuring seamless operational implementation.
2. Navigate India's policy environment to unlock value through strategic interventions and research.
3. Enhance portfolio management by leveraging analytics and insights for informed decision-making.
4. Strengthen controls, governance, and performance tracking to mitigate risks and ensure compliance with statutory guidelines.

Role Responsibilities:

Pricing & Portfolio:

Drive pricing, discount, and product-mix strategy & execution through data analysis, insights, and research.

Optimize portfolio design by leveraging data, benchmarking competitors, and incorporating global best practices.

Policy & Research:

Develop a deep understanding of India's taxation landscape and its implications on pricing and revenue.

Monitor, analyze, and provide insights on excise policy changes across regions to identify risks and opportunities.

Leverage market research, whitepapers, and data-driven insights to support policy interventions and strategic decisions

Revenue Governance & Operations:

Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure seamless execution of revenue strategies.

Maintain accurate price lists aligned with the pricing strategy to facilitate correct invoicing.

Ensure governance, audit compliance, and adherence to internal controls and statutory requirements.

MINIMUM REQUIREMENT

Education: Tier-1 MBA or Post-Graduate Degree in Business

Relevant Experience: 48 years of experience in the consumer goods industry.

Strong understanding of Indias tax landscape; knowledge of taxation in alcoholic beverages is preferred.

Expertise in one or more of the following is preferred: Pricing, Data Analytics, Pricing Research, Market Research, Database Management, Revenue Management, Taxation, Policy Interventions, Revenue Governance, Revenue Operations, Finance Operations, Program Management, or Strategy Consulting in the Pricing/CPG/Alco-Bev space.

Skills required:

Advanced Excel proficiency and experience handling large-scale databases are mandatory. Knowledge of dashboarding and data visualization is preferred.

Exceptional communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work cross-functionally and influence stakeholders.

Ability to adapt, manage, and drive change across the organization, both upwards and downwards.

Strong analytical skills, with the capability to derive insights from unstructured data and implement cross-functional action plans.

Sharp financial acumen, with the ability to evaluate business decisions with a strong focus on P&L delivery.

Comfort with ambiguity, with the ability to navigate and make decisions at scale.
