Role & responsibilities

A Budgeting and Budget tracking :-

• Prepare tentative first cut budget from architectural drawings and technical specifications provided in the MEP DBR and making suitable assumptions for services with necessary backup
• Should be aware of IBMS / Extra Low voltage systems like fire alarm, public address, CCTV, access control, integrated building management system, audio visual system, vehicle monitoring , telephone, data, networking, video wall system etc.
• Should be aware of current market rates of IBMS items WRT project requirements.
• Having good rapport with system integrators / material suppliers related to IBMS system material.
• Monitor and track the actual cost vs. estimated budget based on the final GFC drawings, and reports of issued material through SAP (given work orders and purchase orders)
• Participate in budget review meetings and ensure consolidating of the revisions suggested and update budgets accordingly.
• Budget forecasting.
• Coordinating with site representative for change notes.

B Purchase Requisitions:-

• Prepare/ validate the price BOQ from the available approved construction/ coordinated drawings
• Cross-check and verify purchase requisitions received from the site estimation team against the updated BOQ to compare material specifications and quantities
• Monitor and track the actual material used vs. estimated material based on the final drawings, and reports of issued material through SAP
• Coordinate with site representative for change notes for any revisions in material specifications/ quantities.
• Update budget if required to be completed after taking Change Notes from respective HODs.

Preferred candidate profile

• Candidate should be familiar with AUTOCAD and Revit MEP (IBMS related) drafting for detailed quantity take off.
• Sound knowledge of SAP will be preferred
