Business Development Support Specialist

We are looking for a Business Development Support Specialist to enhance the efficiency and effectiveness of our prospecting and data management processes. This pivotal role combines research, CRM management, and organizational skills to support the business development team in driving growth and improving client engagement. The ideal candidate will possess strong analytical capabilities, exceptional attention to detail, and a knack for organizing and managing large datasets, ultimately contributing to the overall success of our business development initiatives.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Research and Prospecting

• Research potential clients, focusing on schools and other educational organizations in specific regions.
• Find and collect information about organizations, such as key decision-makers, contact details, and organizational structures.
• Create detailed profiles of potential clients to help the business development team plan outreach.

2. CRM Management

• Update and maintain our CRM system (like HubSpot) to ensure all data is accurate and organized.
• Regularly check for and fix duplicate or incorrect entries.
• Help the team access reports and insights by creating dashboards and summaries in the CRM system.

3. Business Development Support

• Take care of administrative tasks for the business development team so they can focus on building relationships and closing deals.
• Provide organized prospect lists, meeting notes, and other information to help the team prepare for client meetings.
• Track follow-ups and ensure timely communication with clients.

4. Data Organization and Management

• Organize and manage databases to make the sales process smoother.
• Work with other teams to fill any gaps in our data.
• Analyze data trends to find new opportunities for the business development team.

Qualifications:

Skills You Need

• Strong research skills and the ability to find and organize information.
• Experience with CRM tools like HubSpot (preferred).
• Proficient in Microsoft Excel (e.g., formulas, pivot tables).
• Great attention to detail and accuracy when working with data.
• Strong organizational and communication skills to manage tasks and share insights clearly.
