About the Role:
We are seeking a results-driven Event Sales Manager specializing in MICE to join our dynamic team.
This role is pivotal in driving corporate sales, acquiring high-profile clients, and ensuring the successful execution of corporate events.
The ideal candidate will have a deep understanding of the events industry and a strong track record of achieving sales targets in the MICE sector.
Key Responsibilities:
Sales Strategy and Client Acquisition:
- Develop and execute comprehensive sales strategies to attract and secure corporate clients for MICE events.
- Identify and actively pursue new business opportunities within the corporate sector.
- Build a strong pipeline of potential clients by leveraging market insights and networking.
Client Relationship Management:
- Build and nurture lasting relationships with existing clients to ensure repeat business and high levels of satisfaction.
- Serve as the primary point of contact for corporate clients, addressing inquiries, managing expectations, and ensuring seamless event execution.
- Lead client negotiations to close deals effectively while adhering to company and market standards.
Collaboration and Coordination:
- Work closely with the marketing team to create promotional materials and campaigns that highlight MICE event offerings.
- Collaborate with internal teams to ensure that client requirements are clearly communicated and delivered.
- Represent the company at industry events, trade shows, and networking functions to enhance brand visibility and build professional connections.
Market Research and Reporting:
- Conduct thorough market research to stay updated on industry trends, competitor activities, and emerging opportunities.
- Prepare and present sales reports, forecasts, and performance metrics to senior management.
Qualifications and Skills:
Experience and Expertise:
- 3-6 years of proven experience in sales within the events industry, with a focus on corporate sales and MICE events.
- Demonstrated success in securing high-profile corporate clients and delivering profitable event solutions.
Skills:
- Communication & Negotiation: Exceptional communication, negotiation, and presentation skills.
- Networking: Strong networking abilities and an established network within the corporate sector.
- Market Knowledge: Solid understanding of market standards, client needs, and trends in the MICE industry.
- Organization & Multitasking: Excellent organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple clients and events simultaneously.
Education:
- Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Hospitality Management, or a related field is preferred.
