About the Role:
- We are seeking a dynamic and results-oriented Sales Manager to drive growth and revenue for our client in the events industry.
- This role is focused on acquiring and retaining corporate clients for MICE (Meetings, Incentives, Conferences, and Exhibitions) events.
Key Responsibilities:
Business Development:
- Identify and target potential corporate clients in various industries.
- Conduct market research to identify emerging trends and opportunities.
- Develop and execute strategic sales plans to achieve revenue targets.
Client Acquisition:
- Actively seek new business opportunities through networking, cold calling, and other prospecting techniques.
- Build strong relationships with key decision-makers at corporate organizations.
- Present compelling proposals and presentations to showcase the value proposition of our client's MICE services.
Client Relationship Management:
- Maintain strong relationships with existing clients through regular communication and exceptional service.
- Proactively address client concerns and resolve issues to ensure satisfaction.
- Identify upselling and cross-selling opportunities to maximize revenue.
Event Planning and Execution:
- Collaborate with the event planning team to ensure seamless execution of MICE events.
- Provide input on event concepts, themes, and logistics to meet client expectations.
- Oversee event timelines, budgets, and resource allocation.
Team Leadership:
- Mentor and coach the sales team to achieve performance goals.
- Foster a positive and collaborative team culture.
- Provide guidance and support to team members to enhance their skills and knowledge.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's/master's degree in Business Administration, Hospitality Management, or a related field.
- Experience in sales within the events industry, with a strong focus on corporate sales.
- Proven track record of successfully securing and managing MICE events.
- In-depth understanding of the MICE industry, including trends, challenges, and opportunities.
- Excellent communication, negotiation, and presentation skills.
- Strong organizational and time management skills.
- Ability to1 work under pressure and meet tight deadlines.
- Proficiency in CRM software and sales tools.
Additional Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience in international MICE events.
- Certification in sales or event management.
- Strong network of corporate contacts in the industry.
