UFT Automation Engineer (5-8 yrs)

About the Role:

- We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Automation Engineer to join our dynamic team.

- In this role, you will play a crucial part in designing, developing, and executing robust automation solutions to ensure the quality and reliability of our software products.

Key Responsibilities :

- Design, develop, and execute comprehensive test automation suites using HP UFT (Unified Functional Testing).

- Strong understanding and experience with test methodologies (e.g, Agile, Waterfall), QA processes, and software release cycles.

- Proven experience with ALM (Application Lifecycle Management) tool.

- Experience with Web Services (REST APIs) is a significant advantage.

- Ability to understand project scope, build effective automation strategies, and optimize testing processes.

- Guide and mentor junior team members in automation development best practices.

- Develop and maintain automation frameworks from scratch.

- Strong proficiency in VB scripting, including the ability to write wScript objects and Macros.

- Hands-on experience in script development, debugging, and maintenance.

- Integrate UFT with ALM for seamless test scheduling, execution, and reporting.

- Leverage SQL queries for database checks and validations.

- Collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams (developers, product managers, etc.) across global locations.

- Excellent communication, coordination, and interpersonal skills.

- Proficiency in Python for test automation is a strong plus.

Qualifications :

- 5+ years of hands-on experience in software testing, with a strong focus on automation.

- In-depth expertise in HP UFT (essential).

- Solid understanding of Agile methodologies and software development lifecycle.

- Experience with ALM tool is mandatory.

- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.

- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or a related field
