Job Overview:

We are seeking a dynamic and detail-oriented Financial Modeling and Fundraising Associate to support our efforts in raising capital and managing investor relations. This role will involve preparing detailed financial models, crafting compelling fundraising decks, and conducting outreach to potential investors and funds. The ideal candidate will have strong financial analysis skills, a deep understanding of the fundraising process, and an ability to establish connections with key stakeholders.

Key Responsibilities:

Financial Modeling: Develop and maintain financial models to support fundraising efforts, including forecasting, budgeting, and scenario analysis.

Fundraising Deck Preparation: Create compelling and data-driven presentations (decks) for prospective investors, clearly outlining investment opportunities and business strategies.

Investor Outreach: Conduct initial outreach to potential investors, including venture capital firms, angel investors, and funds, to generate interest in fundraising opportunities.

Meeting Setup: Coordinate and schedule meetings with investors, ensuring that both internal teams and potential investors are prepared with the necessary materials and information.

Market Research: Conduct research to identify potential investors and trends in the investment space that can enhance fundraising efforts.

Investor Relations Support: Assist in maintaining relationships with existing investors and preparing reports or updates as necessary.

Collaboration: Work closely with internal teams, including leadership and legal advisors, to ensure all financial and investor-related documents are prepared and up-to-date.

Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Business Administration, or a related field (MBA or equivalent preferred).

2-4 years of experience in financial modeling, investment banking, or similar roles.

Proven track record of preparing fundraising decks and financial analysis.

Strong proficiency in financial modeling tools and software (Excel, financial modeling software).

Excellent communication and interpersonal skills for outreach and relationship-building with investors.

Ability to work independently, manage multiple priorities, and meet deadlines.

Strong attention to detail and problem-solving skills.

Experience in fundraising and capital markets, especially in venture capital, private equity, or startup financing.

Familiarity with investor due diligence processes and funding rounds.

Knowledge of industry-specific financial metrics and valuation techniques.

Ability to synthesize complex financial data into clear and actionable insights.
