Interview preparation tips for other job seekers - For a consulting manager you may have 1 or 2 technical rounds, 1 tech client round, 1 manager round and 1 HR round for salary negotiations. There was an internal goof up at the talent acquisition end resulting with me giving 6 tech rounds. I have given as well as taken 20+ tech interviews for Virtusa within my short stint of about 6 months. So please heed my advice. Make sure to brush up on your basics pertaining to the JD provided to you by the HR (if not provided, make sure to ask for a descriptive one). Make sure to keep your mind calm & composed even if you did not answer. You will usually have more questions to redeem yourself. Always remember, interviewers look for reasons to select and NOT reasons to reject. Having said that, if you are not receiving any offer there is a possibility that you cleared the interview but the position is not available anymore, so please don't be disheartened, be optimistic and keep job hunting. Also, when interviewer asks you if you want to know anything, please don't say no, you can always find out more about the role you are expected to perform, pertinent work life balance etc.
