Though the answer to this question would differ from person to person. However, I will try to give a generic answer to this. 
Be sure to visit the website of the company before appearing for the interview and simply mug up as much knowledge as you can about the products, services and/or output that the company works for.
Because ultimately you have to build an emotional connection with the employer which is only possible when you speak about the company and its products/services that in turn speaks alot about your dedication.
For example you can say:
While doing through the profile I was overwhelmed by the extensive list of services/products/departments/categories that the company works with. I am sure I'll be able to learn deeper insights into fields that lie outside my domain.
