Interview Preparation Tips

Interview preparation tips for other job seekers - The HR asks our convenient time for the interview and schedules it, but the panel won't be available. I had to wait on the WebEx for a long time and disconnect. After the cleared the first round, the same thing happened in the 2nd round. This time the HR atleast informed me about the change in timings 10 min before the interview.
During the interview, I felt as if I was being grilled. The panel did not read my resume properly and had poor listening skills. For every question they asked, I had to clarify what was written in my resume. They could have saved time by reading it properly. They asked me the same questions again and again.

Interview Preparation Tips

Round: Interview
Experience: They asked to write 2 codes on recursion. Then some questions on resume. I asked them about the job profile and after knowing that they were hiring candidates for frontend programming, about which they didn’t mention in JAF. I told them that I was not interested in frontend development. And didn’t even answer any question after that. Unfortunately, I was selected.

General Tips: Plan your schedule judiciously keeping your capacity in mind. There is no point of making ideal plans and then not able to do even 50% of it.
Don’t get into unnecessary arguments or debate with people.
Don’t think about what others are doing. Focus on your preparation.
How you carry yourself matters. So, make sure you portray yourself in the way you want the other person to perceive you.
Be selective while applying for companies.

Interview Preparation Tips

Interview preparation tips for other job seekers - Interviewer was not really aware of what to do in an interview.

He/She did not know about the job responsibilities well when asked regards the role in depth.

Everything was asked generally picking up from resume and nothing great from a technical standpoint.

Not really sure of why the company was hiring when the interviewer had no idea about a lot of things. In terms of the skill set it was more than what was asked for and the interview extended from the given time frame with back to back questions yet ending up in no offer.

Not very clear about what the position is all going to be about.

I think the HR/Hiring Manager needs to be well aware of whom they have to send for the interview.

I applied via Referral and was interviewed before Jul 2021. There were 3 interview rounds.
