Interview preparation tips for other job seekers - Company has poor hiring ethics. It conducts interviews before asking for salary expectations. Calls for a face to face casual meet which they call it verification as if a robot is going to work in your place. I asked if they have my asked budget and they did say yes. After 15 mins of meet, guy tells me they have sent my application to their US office for approval and would get the response after 6 days. 6 days later, I get to know that I was rejected due to their budget.

Why did they not ask for my salary expectation before calling me for the interview? Why did you waste a candidate's time for a face to face casual meet calling it a so called "verification"?

Advice for job seekers:
Before proceeding for interview, strongly ask interviewer for the budget and don't proceed if they answer in a vague manner. Don't go for a face to face casual meet if asked for. It is a shear time pass meet. Note, company's strength is 12 employees as per Linkedin, out of which, 5 employees had updated open to work.
